“Say Their Names” was created amidst the social injustices in our nation after the killing of George Floyd. This powerful work curated by Keisha and other local BIPOC artists accelerated her career.

Keisha’s first large mural “Nurture Your Mind” was featured on the cover of the summer issue of Lancaster County Magazine. A few months later her headshot was featured on the Holiday Issue of Fine Living Magazine paired with a 6-page spread about her journey as an artist.

After being able to support herself solely off of her art Keisha was able to go full time in July 2021. Keisha curated her first solo exhibition displaying some new works and functional art as well as past works for her new following since the covid-19 pandemic.

In July 2021, Keisha was able to see her work on the big stage at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour. She was contracted back in late April of 2021 by TAIT to be a painter on the scenic artist team working with about 10 artists from all over the nation!

Penn State Medical Center opened a new facility in Lancaster County; as an initiative to support local art and our community a handful of local artists were selected to create a commission piece of work to be in the new hospital. Keisha’s piece captures the unity of the black community in Lancaster.

Keisha curated her 2nd solo exhibition at The Ware Center: The Arts at Millersville. The exhibit was showing the evolution of her series; Brown Skin Girl while highlighting women who Keisha personal has a relationship with who inspire her and our community from all different walks of life.

For the first time in Lancaster’s history after receiving full funding from Lancaster Equity Fund Keisha curated and planned her own exhibition for Lancaster ARTWalk; displaying local BIPOC artists as well as musicians, poets and a band to be a part of the weekend. Lancaster ARTWalk is an annual event celebrating creativity, culture, and community.

Keisha was announced as a Baldwin Leader Class of 2025 through the Lancaster Community Foundation. She will embark on a journey back to self; filling her spirit for nature as well as art.

Keisha finished her largest mural to date totaling over 1000+ square feet and 20 4ft mural of physicians and scientists throughout black history. Patients R Waiting is a non-profit based in Lancaster committed to eliminating health disparities by increasing diversity in medicine.
